The Government recommends cutting of working hours following the reports on upcoming high temperatures in Macedonia. The measure (working hours from 07:00 to 14:00) should be applied for those who work in non-climatized offices, the Ministry of Health said Wednesday in a press release.

Pregnant women and older people (over 60-year of age) should be released from duty during the hot period, while those working outdoors, i.e. being directly imposed to the sun to work in double shifts - 07:00 - 11:00; 18:00-20:00.

If necessary additional measures will be recommended for preventing the citizens from the harmful effects of high temperatures, the press release said.
