The Union for construction, industry and projections is against the Law for public procurements which was adopted yester by the Assembly of Republic of Macedonia, because as it was said on the press conference, this Law doesn’t offer any protection for the workers and it offends the dignity and the honor of the workers. “The Union asked the Law to include social acts when making public procurements from any economic operator. But although with applied at the Government, to the President of the Assembly and to the coordinators of the political parties, there wasn’t any support and understanding” – said Pavel Trebdafilov, President of the Union, emphasizing that the parliament members have no respect for the basic human rights and the right for honest living wage and compensation. “How long we will continue to pass Laws that are copied by the European Union but at the same time only declaratively implemented” – add Trendafilov.

The Union for construction has support from the International Labor Organizational as well as European Union Federation.
